| The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (DMAMPO) is responsible for drafting and publishing a number of documents. Annually, the DMAMPO is required to publish a planning work program, a transportation improvement program, and an annual report. Additionally, the DMAMPO is required to update its long-range transportation plan, at minimum, every five years. The DMAMPO is involved in a number of planning activities, planning studies, and planning reports that are published throughout the year. Lastly, the DMAMPO publishes a monthly newsletter to update the community of the current projects and upcoming events. | ||||||
