Responsibilities
Serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the MPO
Works closely with the MPO Chair, the Executive Committee,
and the membership of the MPO
Attends, conducts, and makes presentations on behalf of the MPO
Acts as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer and technical advisor to the MPO
Provides leadership in developing organizational and financial plans and
programs with the MPO and staff, and carries out the plans and policies authorized and directed by the MPO
Prepares applications for federal and state funds
Meets with various groups including, but not limited to, the MPO and its various committees, metropolitan business organizations, state or federal agency representatives, private citizens and groups, city and county representatives, and other public agency representatives
Prepares periodic complex technical and administrative transportation planning documents
Participates in intergovernmental review processes, as required
