| As part of the periodic evaluation process of the Des Moines Area MPO’s public participation procedures, the Des Moines Area MPO staff has updated the Public Involvement Process. The updated Public Involvement Process includes explanation of the Des Moines Area MPO Transportation Technical Committee, the Des Moines Area MPO Executive Committee, and the Des Moines Area MPO. Categories of stakeholders and public groups identified as having potential interest in the public input and involvement process are listed. Outreach techniques utilized to inform the public of public involvement opportunities are outlined in the updated Public Involvement Process.
