Other Chapter 28E Agreement: The CIRTPA will maintain, and amend if necessary, a Chapter 28E, Code of Iowa, intergovernmental agreement to provide transportation planning services with its member governments. Other Chapter 28E agreements deemed necessary to provide transportation planning services will be executed under this work task. Bylaws: Bylaws will be maintained and updated, as necessary. Inter-Agency Cooperation: The CIRTPA will participate on multi and inter-agency advisory committees as deemed appropriate. The CIRTPA will cooperate with other statewide organizations in fulfilling its transportation planning responsibilities. Products Greater cooperation and coordination among transportation planning organizations statewide; a better informed CIRTPA concerning issues and access to information needed in the transportation planning process. Agendas, minutes, and meeting arrangements; contract preparation and monitoring; Chapter 28E amendments, and bylaws if necessary; and bylaws amendments. Support of the Iowa DOT in the development of management systems which may be required of the CIRTPA.
